Dixell Cold Storage and Maturing Rooms Controllers
Overview
Models XLR130 and XLR170, 210x230mm format, are microprocessor based controllers suitable for applications on medium or low temperature refrigerating units. They are provided with four (XLR130) or six (XLR170) relay outputs to control compressor, defrost – which can be either electrical or hot gas (XLR170) – the evaporator fans (XLR170), the lights, the alarm and an auxiliary output. They are also provided with three NTC or PTC probe inputs, one for temperature control, one to control the defrost end temperature of the evaporator and the third, optional, for the display. There are two digital inputs (free contact) for the door switch and configurable by parameter.
The standard TTL output allows the user to connect, by means of a TTL/RS485 external module, a ModBUS-RTU compatible monitoring system and to programme the parameter list with the “Hot Key”.
Each model in the XLR100 can be provided with a Real Time Clock which allows programming of up to eight daily defrost cycles, divided into holidays and workdays. A “Day and Night” function with two different set points is fitted for energy saving.

Specifications
- The CYCLES: Cy1, Cy2, Cy3, Cy4 are pre-set according to the most common cycles used in food safety applications; the user can select one of them according to his own requirements and modify it as he wants.
- Any cycle can be manually terminated before the normal.
- Any cycle can use the insert probes (up to 3), they measure the internal temperature of the product.
- During the Cycle there are no defrosts and the fans are always on, a defrost cycle can be done before any freezing cycle.
- The cycle is divided up to 3 phases completely configurable by the user.
- Each instrument is provided with an output for remote display XR REP, which shows the temperature of cabinets or goods.
- The XB570L controller is provided with internal real-time clock and can be connected to the XB07PR printer. This means that a report, which includes all the main features of cycle, can be printed: start and end of the cycle, length of the cycle, logging of the temperature of the cabinet and goods.

Overview
- Temperature: PTC probes, NTC probes, PT1000 probes, PRODUCT probes, PT100 thermo-resistors and TC thermocouples

NTC Probes
The probes with NTC thermistor are designed for applications where high accuracy and short responce time is important. The probe passes several tests, this is why we guarantee a very hith reliability. The temperature range is -40 ÷ 110°C (-40 ÷ 230°F).
PTC Probes
The probes with PTC thermistor are designed for both cooling and heating applications.The temperature range is -50 ÷ 150°C (-58 ÷ 302°F).
Humidity Probes
XH10P and XH20P humidity probes are suitable for all those applications where it is necessary to detect and control humidity. Such applications are: refrigeration, drying processes etc.

WIZMATE Prog- tool kit
Programming kit made up of CD and DIN Rail module (PROG-TOOL) with connections for Hot Key and RS485 for Dixell instruments; it allows the user to connect controllers to a PC running Windows 2000/XP OS. The CD-rom includes: WIZMATE software (to program an instrument or a Hot Key). The Kit includes: the CAB/PTK2 wire for DIN module instrument connection, the CAB/PTK485 wire for DIN module RS485 (built-in) instrument connection, the CAB/SW9-9 wire for PC connections.
Programming
Serial interfaces are available to make the conversion of the TTL output into a RS485 signal in order to realize a connection with controlling and supervising system.
